Marian Watt is married, mother of 3 daughters, and stepmother of 1 son in the Air Force.
She also has 2 wonderful granddaughters.  She lives in Michigan, where she has been the
Operations Manager for a financial advisor since 1997, and has worked in the financial
industry for over 25 years.  She is passionate about supporting our men and women in
uniform, and given the opportunity will ask anyone for anything to care for our wounded
heroes.  With a family that has served in the military (father in the Navy, brother in the
Marines, uncles in the Army and Air Force, father-in-law in the Merchant Marines), Marian
recognizes all too well that freedom is not free; and that these young heroes deserve the
support of a grateful nation.
Marian Watt - President
Jan Schafnitz-Hogg
Jan Houin - Secretary
Jan Houin lives in Plymouth, IN with her husband, Ken. They are the parents of 4 children
and 9 wonderful grandchildren. Jan has enjoyed a home business as an Independent Beauty
Consultant for Mary Kay, Inc. for over 30 years. After joining a local club of Toastmasters
International a few years ago, Jan combined her speaking skills and life experience into a
speaking business called "Sharing Life’s Lessons".

In 2006 Jan learned about OQC. With a son in the Navy at that time and a son-in-law in the
Army, Jan wanted to do something for our troops but didn't know what or how. OQC has
given her a way to channel that energy. She is willing to share our mission with any size
group that will listen, one or thousands, and give others the opportunity to show that a
grateful nation truly cares.
Cristina Conciatori - Treasurer
Cristina was born and raised outside of New York City and continues to live and work there.
She has been teaching science since 2006 after graduating from Boston College.  Her
discovery of quilting prompted her to look for ways to use her new skills in a positive way
and she came across Operation: Quiet Comfort.  Since then she has committed herself to
the OQC mission.  She is excited to be a part of this fantastic organization and hopes to be a
part of propelling Operation: Quiet Comfort into the future.
Jan Schafnitz-Hogg lives in Mc Cormick, South Carolina.  She has volunteered with
Operation: Quiet Comfort for three years and has served proudly as a member of the Board
of Directors for the last two years.  Jan has over 25 years experience with various
non-profits.  She looks forward to continuing to do what is needed to honor and care for our
military.
Lori Stokes-Pate
Lori and her family founded Operation: Quiet Comfort in late 2003. Little did she know that
their simple, heart-felt, expressions of love and comfort from the homefront would evolve
into such a remarkable opportunity for people around the country to collaborate and share
their time, talent, and resources to meet needs half a world away. She credits AnySoldier.
com in large part for their inspiration, dedication, and support.

She and her husband Dennis live in La Salle, Michigan and are the proud parents of three
grown children - and very proud grandparents of one. Their youngest son is currently
serving in the United States Marine Corp. Lori’s father served in the United States Navy for
many years. She is deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our troops in such a
meaningful way during these challenging times in our world.
